Smart deal for Shropshire law firm

Smart Cut, a Midlands ground maintenance company, has acquired TFN Landscapes, in the latest deal successfully negotiated by Shrewsbury commercial law firm Blackbourn & Bond.
TFN Landscapes, based in Gloucester, provides landscaping, maintenance and infrastructure services to property developers, construction companies and local authorities across the region.
Established by owner and managing director Tom Rimell in 1994, Smart Cut provides ground maintenance to contractors, district councils and housing associations. “This deal strengthens both our client base and capability, enabling us to expand in the future by tendering for larger contracts,” said Mr Rimell.
As part of the deal, TFN’s two directors will be retained in a part time capacity for 12 months to ensure a smooth transition of the business and customer base.
