Nick Blackbourn

Nick is the firm's founding partner and set up the practice back in 2003 with the aim of creating a dynamic commercial law firm - company solicitors - with an emphasis on strong client relationships and a reputation for excellence. Nick has a wealth of industry based experience working with some of the UK's largest PLC's such as Guinness Plc, Ranks Hovis McDougall Plc, and United International Pictures (UIP).

Nick specialises in company law, especially the commercial sectors, focusing on working alongside clients involved in; company acquisitions and disposals, management buy outs/ins, private equity, commercial contracts, intellectual property and corporate finance and structures.

Stuart Rose

Stuart has extensive experience within the law, having qualified in 1984. After working in private practice, he moved into industry, eventually becoming a commercial lawyer at both Manders Plc and GKN plc. His ambition was always to move into private practice and his desire to work with and develop businesses was ultimately demonstrated by developing a former practice into a major supplier of legal services, and obtaining a franchise from the Legal Services Commission.

Recognising Stuart's strengths in various areas of the law and his business acumen, Blackbourn & Bond invited him to join the Company as a Consultant Solicitor. Stuart's expertise in the areas of Corporate/Commercial, Private Client and Property compliments an already strong commercial team at Blackbourn & Bond enabling the Company to offer clients added value with an extended range of services.
